Austin Does A Disservice to the Rest of Texas as Authoritarianism and Homelessness is Encouraged

Austin, Texas is such a dichotomy. The Capital City to the Renegade State long known for its freedom minded agenda that has always been seen as a little City with a few 'weird' affectations. Since the influx of Californians, both physically and politically, the City has gone from 'quirky' to 'San Francisco-Lite'.

Governor Abbott rescinded the State-Wide mask mandates on March 10, but the Mayor of Austin insisted to tyrannize his populous, and two idiot judges agreed. One Judge figured since the people have worn masks for a year, what's another two weeks. Unbelievably bad judgement.

But Austin legalized and incentivized Homelessness by repealing laws on panhandling and public 'camping'. That and their questionable City Council history lead them to be a terrible representation of the great state of Texas.
