Hello there vape amigos. In today’s vape lesson we learn the difference between an RDA, RDTA, RTA and Sub-Ohm tank.

An RDA, or rebuildable dripping atomizer, is a type of atomizer that requires the user to manually add e-liquid to the wick and coils. RDA’s have a juice well at the bottom of the build deck and the wick ends are placed into the remaining space. These units are designed for maximum flavor and are great for those who like to build.

A Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer, or RDTA for short, is a mixture of two different styles, an RDA and a tank. Just like an RDA, the user can drip on this device. And just like a tank, the excess liquid will be held underneath. Think of this atomizer as an “Auto-Dripper”.

An RTA is a rebuildable tank atomizer. This type of atomizer is similar to a RDTA, however instead of the coils being at the top, they are at the bottom like a traditional tank. On RTA style atomizers the user must build their coil. This means physically wrapping your coil, adding your cotton and then attaching it to the actual post of the atomizer.

Finally, we have sub-ohm tanks. These are best because of the ease of use. Simply add your e-liquid, let sit for 5 minutes and then vape. These are great for people just learning to vape. As one progresses on their vape journey they will start to find the atomizer that fits their needs.

Hopefully we were able to drop some knowledge and straighten out any confusion.
