We all battle with thoughts of discouragement at different times in our life. No matter how much we achieve and the amount of progress we make, discouragement tries to infiltrate our defenses. Often times we are discouraged when we do the right things but get poor results.

Discouragement is the voice in our heads saying: “You’re not good enough.” “You are alone.” “You will not finish what you have started.” And so on. Discouragement causes a person to feel defeated and want to give up.
