In this video I show you how to graph a quadratic function by hand. Not only do I work through a specific example, but I also give you a strategy to follow for this kind of problem. Additionally, I show you how to determine the Vertex of the Parabola, the Axis of Symmetry as well as the y-intercept. I also explain how to know if the parabola should open upward or downward and whether is has a Maximum or a Minimum. This way you can be sure that you're graphing the Quadratic Function correctly.

Also in this example I point out a few common misconceptions that students have with graphing Quadratic Functions by Hand as well as common errors that I've seen in the classroom.
