"More than 70 fires have been set in the Eastern Shore’s rural Accomack County about every other night since mid-November (2012), creating deepening urgency and mystery with each new spark. The abandoned Whispering Pines Motel in Tasley, Va., was set ablaze March 12, and a former restaurant burned March 13."
