Electromagnet Propelled Boat Close Up and Description of Circuit

The resistors will get warm.
The electromagnets are made of 26 gauge magnet wire wrapped as neatly as possible around a 1 1/4 inch stainless steel machine screw in 4 layers of 40 to 50 turns each. for between 0,7 and 0.9 ohms.
The parts are mounted in the boat with some double sided tape and since balance could be important the mini proto PCB and Arduino Nano are just held in place by the wires so they are easy to reposition.
I am considering adding a 4th 47ohm 2 watt resistor to the 3 that are wired in parallel to increase the circuit for the electromagnet from 2.28 watts to about 2.8 watts with the same 4 AAA battery power supply.
(If you'd like to see the Arduino program/sketch leave a comment.)
Stay tuned:)
