Spiritual Gifts: Who gets them?

The second video in the series of Spiritual Gifts. This time we answer the question, Who gets spiritual gifts? The simple answer is all who seek God for the gifts and have faith that God will give those gifts through the Holy Spirit. As the scripture says, we must first believe that God is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) However, we find that the answer, though simple, becomes complicated because people complicate it. For whatever reasons, such as fame, fortune, or ignorance, we mess things up when it comes to receiving form the Lord. James says we have not because we ask not, and yet when we do ask, we ask for all the wrong reasons/motives. (James 4:2-3) So this video sets out to answer the question of who receives the gifts of the Spirit by contrasting different people in the Bible and what their motives and lives looked like.
