Begum Khaleda Zia was the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from 1991 to 1996 and from 2001 to 2006.

Begum Khaleda Zia (IPA: kʰaled̪a dʒia; née Majumder, born 1945) is a Bangladeshi baby-kisser who served as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from 1991 to 1996, and once more from 2001 to 2006.[1] She used to be the first lady in the country's records and 2d in the Muslim majority nations (after Benazir Bhutto) to head a democratic authorities as high minister. She used to be the First Lady of Bangladesh at some stage in the presidency of her husband Ziaur Rahman.
