Tony Katz Today: Compelling Speech Is What Authoritarians Do

On This Episode:

- President Biden signed the $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill today. He came into the Oval Office, signed the bill, and left the office.

- Dr. Fauci is appalled by states that have lifted their mask mandates and strongly suggests against it. Problem is, his credibility is shot.

- Today is the 1-year anniversary of the declaration of COVID as a pandemic. America politicized a virus instead of figuring it out together. The damage may be irreversible.

- The problem with biological males participating in Women's athletics.

- New York State is filing a police report over the groping claim against Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The Big Story:

A biracial high school student, raised by his single black mother, with light skin that makes him “look white" was required to confess his “white dominance” by his school. When he refused they failed him. He may not graduate.

In Nevada a Las Vegas Charter School has been sued for a curriculum covering race and identity. The school was repeatedly compelling student's speech involving intimate matters of race, gender, sexuality and religion.

Compelling speech is what Authoritarians do.
