Honda Ridgeline oil change

2008 Honda Ridgeline 3.5 vtec engine, oil change. Same for all first gen Ridgeline. I use Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage Full Synthetic 5w-20. I have 89,000 miles. The engine runs so smooth with this stuff and starts no problem in extreme cold temps. You can get it at Walmart for $21 for a 5qt jug. You're going to spend $35-$50 at your local auto parts store. The Ridgeline uses 4.5 quarts of oil. I use Napa Filters because they are made by Wix, but for way cheaper and Wix in my opinion are if not one of the best quality filters out there in the market. I use the Gold Filter $7 instead of the platinum filter $12, they are pretty much the same. If you look at the specs both are 23 microns. And if you're a Valvoline guy, Napa's oil is made by Valvoline, but sold for cheaper. So for a total of $28 you can change your own oil for cheap and use high quality materials to keep your engine running longer and your wallet heavier.

Hope someone learns what they can from this video. Feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks for watching
