U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 172 conduct expeditionary advanced base operations at various islands off the coast of, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 19, 2021 during exercise Hagåtña Fury 21. MWSS-172 performed forward arming and refueling points with aircraft from 1st Marine Aircraft Wing and transported equipment on Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 465 CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters on Ukibaru island and Ie Shima.
