Overall, if you are looking specifically for a 22LR handgun, this Ruger pistol is a great option. This SR22 Ruger features the single double action if you want to use that as an additional safety feature. The slide is very easy to rack.

Some people like this Ruger SR22 as a CCW, but to me this is not the best concealed carry gun, because you can get something chambered in more efficient caliber and a smaller overall size. This handgun is good for a relaxing range day though. Also, if you are shopping around for something similar, Walther P22 would be another comparable option.

One huge plus of this Ruger handgun is that because this model is so popular, there are a ton of Ruger SR22 accessories out there.
