Self Hall Dormitory Dedication

Little Rock Air Force Base dedicates one of its dormitories to Staff Sgt. John T. Self, a former LRAFB Airmen who was killed May 14, 2007 while on his 79th combat patrol as a fire team leader assisting Iraqis taking back the streets of Baghdad. An improvised explosive device tore through his vehicle killing him and wounding three fellow Airmen on the patrol. Self was assigned to LRAFB's 314th Security Forces Squadron.
