PARKING BETWEEN CARS | TIGHT SPOTS | Use Reference Points or Spots on the Cars to See Where to Turn

Hi Drivers! When you're learning to drive, parking in tight spots can be done easily the more you practice. Watch Mr. T. narrate it in this driving video, and keep trying it until you're an expert at it.

As with so many driving skills, it all comes down to reference points, or "spots on the cars" that you see from your place in the driver's seat.

Reference points work no matter what size car you're in and what size car you're looking at outside.

KEEP SAFETY ITEMS IN YOUR TRUNK:

Safety items are essential: a vest, a tire gauge, cones, flares, and other items may never be used, but they are the things that when you need them, you really need them and are really glad you have them.

Also don't forget to put some peppermints and granola bars into your glove compartment for use in case you become drowsy and aren't able to pull over because of weather or locale. Usually eating those will give you a lift and keep you alert until you're able to pull over safely.
