Today will be warmer with highs in the upper 50s to the lower 60s, except along the lakeshore. Winds will come out of the southeast keeping lakeside areas likely in the 40s. Tonight will be seasonably mild with overnight lows in the upper 40s under increasing clouds and some patchy fog. Soaking rain showers will roll through Wednesday with highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s. Thankfully we aren’t expecting significant amounts of rainfall which would cause flooding concerns in the area streams and rivers. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible. Some rain showers may linger into Thursday morning, but clearing skies are anticipated during the second half of the day. Highs will be in the upper 40s to the lower 50s. Temperatures are going to cool back down into the lower to mid 40s for Friday and Saturday with mostly sunny skies. It gets cooler on Sunday with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s under mostly sunny skies. Long range temperatures forecasts show cooler weather for the second half of the month with lots of lower to mid 40s. The average high temperature by the end of the month is 46.
