Again, a protestor died shot by military on Myitkyina, Myanmar
4 years ago
The current condition of Myanmar is still being taken over by the military. The latest news from Myanmar, Aung San Suu Kyi was accused of illegally importing walkie talkies. These allegations provide grounds for the military to detain Suu Kyi for two weeks.
The allegations came to light two days after Suu Kyi was placed under house arrest and appears to be an attempt to corroborate Suu Kyi's detention.
Spokesperson for Suu Kyi's party, the National League for Democracy Kyi Toe confirmed the charges against Suu Kyi with a maximum sentence of three years in prison. He also said Myanmar President Win Myint was accused of violating the law on natural disaster management.
