After the Biden Administration rips through its current slate of topics, one of the most controversial (up there with Packing the Supreme Court) is creating additional states. Puerto Rico and the District of Colombia are targets and for this sake of this video, we are focusing on Washington D.C. and how that is unlikely to happen.

If it weren't for how the City was created (land seceded by Virginia and Maryland) that immediately stops it dead, there is the pesky United States Constitution in the way that would need to be amended in order to do that. Simply put, the votes are not there for the Super-Majority to occur. The Founding Fathers foreseen that a voting block that has a vested interest in maintaining its own power should not be enfranchised was just another prescient idea that is paying off, to the determent of the greedy Democrats.
