Governor Greg Abbott From Texas Announced 'Operation Lone Star' Which Will Safe Guard The Southern Border And Combat The Smuggling Of People And Drugs Into Texas.

As Part Of The Operation Abbott Is Deploying The Texas National Guard And State Troopers To Respond To The Crisis At The Southern Border And To Counter What He Calls President Biden’s ‘Open Border Policies’

Abbott Is Ordering The Deployment Of Air, Ground, Marine, And Tactical Border Security Assets To High Threat Areas.

In A Statement The Governor Said,

“The Crisis At Our Southern Border Continues To Escalate Because Of Biden Administration Policies That Refuse To Secure The Border And Invite Illegal Immigration,” He Wrote, “Texas Supports Legal Immigration But Will Not Be An Accomplice To The Open Border Policies That Cause, Rather Than Prevent, A Humanitarian Crisis In Our State And Endanger The Lives Of Texans. We Will Surge The Resources And Law Enforcement Personnel Needed To Confront This Crisis.”

The Announcement Follows A Massive Surge In Illegal Border Crossings Since Biden Took Office Just Over A Month Ago.

Biden Has Been Warned By Lawmakers, Governors And Mayors On Both Sides Of The Isle About His Immigration Policies That They Say Are Fueling The Crisis At The Southern Border.
