Officer Robert Mousel of the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Department is dispatched to a call about a large animal problem in an abandoned trailer. Two women tell Officer Mousel that they believe there are about 52 cats and several other animals locked inside an abandoned trailer. Three men were recently evicted from the property. The neglected animals are everywhere – behind a washer/dryer, crawling inside the walls. Officer Mousel and the women retrieve as many animals as they can but wait for animal control to clear the rest of the house.
