1-102nd prepares for deployment to Africa

On March 7, 2021, at Camp Hartell, Connecticut, Soldiers of the 1st Battalion, 102nd Infantry Regiment and H Company, 186th Brigade Support Battalion, load rolling stock and gear on to trucks to send to Fort Bliss, Texas. At Fort Bliss, the Guardsmen will conduct pre-deployment training in preparation for their mission in Africa in support of Combined Joint Task Force, Horn of Africa.
