Heb 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an High Priest for ever after the Order of Melchisedec.
Melchizedek comes from the same word h4442. מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק malḵiy-ṣeḏeq; from 4428 and 6664; king of righteousness; Malki-Tsedek: — MelchiZadok

Heb 7: King of Righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of Peace. Heb 7:3 Without (earthly) father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Also the Levitical priesthood is now changed or transfered to Melchizedek, like from one agreement to another.
Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Clearly this is stating the law has changed from Levitical priesthood to the Order of Melchizedek who was both king and priest. The House of David also shows us how to be kings and priests in the Order of Melcizedek with the branches of judges, musicians, porters and military.
1 Pet 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ

We give a sacrifice of praise but also sacrifice ourselves on the altar Rom 12.
