Fireside Chat: King James Only Cultists

This is an informal fireside chat. You could call it a rant, but then I watched it again and I’m not really yelling so much. So we’ll call it a fireside chat.

For some reason Rumble isn’t letting me put up the full video. The full talk is about one hour and twenty five minutes long. This is the first 25 minutes. I will try to get the rest of it up for you to listen.

Sometimes cults are exhausting and tedious to deal with. It’s not like marching your army single file right up to the enemy gate, there’s gate after gate after gate in a circuitous path like a maze.

Cults swaddle themselves in confusion and in many layers of deception and preemptive counterattack so that you will not be able to get to the heart of the matter and expose them. So that you will be on the defensive as they accuse you of not being true and good while building themselves up in pride.

What I’m trying to do here is to peel away all those layers and to cut through all that defensive hostility to expose the falseness of the cult. I’m not saying that they’re not right about Bible verses that are physically different between Bibles. That’s a physically observable fact. That’s a problem and what they’re talking about, is real. There’s an issue. But the issue is not the way they say it is. They are misrepresenting the “what does this mean“ and “what should we do,@ part of it.

But it’s your interpretation in response to the issue and how you live your life and approach God and look at the world and at God as a result - that where the problem is.

And don’t get me started on the king James people who read the book of Enoch and Jasher as scripture! Hypocrites!
