What Is Discernment? It is Necessary for Your Survival

Hello brothers and sister and YouTube family. Hope you guys are being blessed. I finally realized why the Lord kept giving me “obedience and self-will” as I mentioned to you guys in the previous messages because I wasn’t sure what else he had told me to do that I wasn’t doing.

He finally enlighten me that I still had not done the teachings on discernment he asked me to do that he had mentioned in the previous message “I catch you when you fall”. So I had to repent again and see that He is truly right in everything especially when he corrects us but we don’t see it.

So I repented for my disobedience because I had other messages and things I had been working on. Honestly other things I wanted to do today rather put this teaching together. Thank you Lord for your great mercy and patience towards me.

I felt Holy Spirit gave me the idea to do a 4 series teaching on this. I will be using some of the instructions Jesus gave to Mother Clare about discernment as well because that is how I have learned to discern.

I will do a series on how to Discern the voice of God, How to Discern the will of God and give you tools of discernment as well.

So what is discernment? The dictionary definition is “the ability to judge well”. However as a believer in Jesus Christ it’s much deeper than that, it is simply wisdom. Wisdom from above that is true discernment.

What do the scriptures say about discernment?

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
