Monahans Sandhills State Park might just be the best state park in Texas! It is an absolutely amazing place for play for kids and adults to play. Try sand sledding in Monahans where you can rent plastic disks, or bring your own wooden sand sleds to go even faster! Scorpion hunting and stargazing are other great options while in the park. It's our favorite state park in Texas.
