How to get through Helm's Dike Solo version.
Level 31-35 Rune Keeper.
Non Tank roll. DPS focused.
Yellow Line (Solitary Thunder).

2:11 - When Solo or Duo, you can setup the environment before you speak to the NPC to start the instance and that is what is needed. Depending on how many Promotion point you have and if you have Engineering...you can build/relocate barracades and build up your general defenses.
7:48 - This is when I speak to the NPC and start the Instance, which brings on the enemies. Note that the NPC will give an indication of which direction the first wave comes. West or East. I bit confusing to see the map as it appears to be North or South.
8:00 - "Gamling Calls out. They are marching on the Eastern End of the Dike." If you are looking at the minimap, this would be to the south.
8:24 - You can see the enemy marching in the distance, coming in. I have a ballista built to thin them out.
12:33 -First side quest. "Protect the Horses". They are located below the gate. You get there by going down the rope. 12:56, I go down the rope.
The Orch's are trying to release the horses...you have to stop them from releasing them all. Success at 16:02
16:16 - go back up the rope to the top of the dike. Continue to fire at the enemy below. Adjusting the ballista to hit them.
17:37-17:55 - I check on the West side of the Dike and place a trap, because the West side will be next for the enemy to attack.
18:24 - They are attacking the West side now. There is a ballista on this side that you can use too. So I take advantage.
21:12 - Second side Quest. "Guarding the Watch Tower". In this side quest the Orch's will attack a tower. They will try to set explosives on the tower and blow it up. You can click the explosives if they get them placed, but they are timed.So they may explode on you while your trying to disarm.
29:07 - Third Side Quest. "Powder at the Gate". More explosives. Orch's will try to blow up the gate...this quest is below the Dike. In the same place the horses side quest was....So back down the rope. 29:20 - I'm going back down the rope.
Target the Orch Sappers as they have the explosives.
This can be buggy. and you may have to go out to them to make them trigger to start.
32:00 you can see how to disarm the explosives.
37:39 Success on the 3rd Side Quest.
Back to the top to finish out the Epic by thinning the Horde down and the quest will end.
