Starring Jim Swartout, the ND Flagpole Guy and his trusty sidekick, Tripper the Flagpole Dog. Join Jim in his adventures as he travels beautiful North Dakota putting up flagpoles, and meeting with new and old friends who share their personal stories and express their love for God and Country.

In this fun but heart touching episode, Jim is putting up flagpoles at the Grand Forks Air Force Base. Surrounded by secret drones that can not be shown, Jim has to be escorted every time he leaves the hanger to get to his truck. And yet, he finds time to do work while being on the radio program "What's On Your Mind" with Scott Hennen.

Jim then interviews Senior Airman Martinez and finds out how a Californian likes living in North Dakota. He takes time to visit the Riverview cemetery in Williston, ND for memorial day. Where he pays tribute to the men and women who have given their life for our Country. He recounts and memorializes his son John Austin Swartout and shares the pain of losing his son to suicide. While celebrating the life that he had lived, who gave not only inspiration to others, but was the one who is the inspiration for the show.
