Babcock Ranch developer has eye on Lee Civic Center property

Developer Syd Kitson would remove Lee Civic Center's main event center, the Lee Expo Center, livestock show rings, and horse barns. He plans to build a hotel/resort and retail space. Lee County Commissioners say they're not considering his plan until Kitson gets through a preliminary presentation first.
