Treasures of Times Past Box of Mysteries

A while back I was helping clear out a house of some old items left inside that the owner did not want any longer and had said to donate the items or to just throw the items away. I came across an old box of stuff. Looking over the box I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything left that the owner may have overlooked and left behind. That's when I noticed some interesting contents. I asked to make sure that this box was marked for trash and again I was told the owner did not want the box of stuff and sense the items were to be donated or trashed, I decided to hang on to the box myself. I was drawn to this box of old items, and could hardly wait to go through it. The box contained some old photos and quiet a few were put onto a cardboard backing. They were all vintage and taken during an era of the first permanent images. All I could think was my gosh, why would anyone throw these away or not want them. Naturally I felt as though I had stumbled on to a box of mystery, and I still feel this way today 1 year later after discovering the box.
