RELAXING FISH SPA ... Exfoliation Galore!

These little "Garra rufas" are most commonly used in fish pedicure spas in various tourist destinations and resorts in Mexico. I experienced my first fish pedicure at the Rivera Maya Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. At first the feeling of these little fish all over different parts of my feet, tickled, then 10 minutes later it was simply relaxing. Afterwards, my feet felt soft and invigorated.

These fish are found mainly in Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran. However, these pedicure spas have been banned in many parts of the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
