Me Carving a Cross for the Pastor of a Church I Camped Out Behind Following Hurricane Laura

I had gone to Louisiana following Hurricane Laura in August of 2020 to help with cleanup following that seriously destructive storm. A pastor at a church I had never been to allowed me to stay in the field behind the church (the church was pretty much destroyed). This is me carving a cross for him as kind of a thank you for letting me stay there while I was helping in the area.

A friend of mine named Jason was the camera man. This was my second attempt at carving with the saw, my first was only about an hour before this where I had carved a much larger cross out of a nice piece of red oak. This one I made for the pastor was also red oak but from a different town, I had kept it to make something out of it but wasn't sure what when I grabbed it.
