Before Dawn, and in some of the thickest fog we have ever seen, Nicholas and Parker set out on a sail to Mackinac Island to watch our other two children play their school soccer game against their rivals.

They barely find their way out of St. James Harbor, keep a close watch, the airhorn going, and start their treacherous journey through the dangerous reefs of the Beaver Island Archipelago.
