Brittany Gosney and James Hamilton couldn’t agree on when they had last seen 6-year-old James Hutchinson when they reported him missing Sunday morning. This was unusual, Middletown police chief Maj. David Birk said Monday afternoon. Most parents of missing children report within a few hours.
