My 37 Facial Surgeries Have Cost $1 Million | BORN DIFFERENT

A MAN born with an unknown condition has had 37 reconstructive operations on his face - costing well over $1,000,000. Nathan from Orlando, Florida was born with a mysterious condition which caused half of his face to not grow properly. He told Truly: “I was given a condition that there’s no name for - so we just call it the Nathan Syndrome. One thing that I heard is that when I was in my mom’s belly, that I leaned to my right side, on the wall, and that’s why it wasn’t developed.” Born without a nose, ear and one of his eyes, Nathan has had to undergo reconstructive surgery his entire life. He said: “I’ve had a total of 37 surgeries. I would estimate that my surgeries cost well over $1,000,000.” Despite his condition, Nathan wouldn’t change anything about his appearance. He said: “I would never change anything about myself. I am proud of who I am, I am proud of who God made me. I wouldn’t change how I look, everything happens for a reason.”
