Helicobacter pylori infection occurs when H. pylori bacteria infect your stomach. It is common during childhood, and a common cause of peptic ulcers, H. pylori infection, may be present in more than half the world's population.

People with H. Pylori will have signs and symptoms such as an ache or burning pain in your abdomen, abdominal pain that's worse when your stomach is empty, nausea, loss of appetite, frequent burping, bloating, and unintentional weight loss.

Dr. Justin noted that some people might not adjust well to HCL, so one of his recommendations is to go for apple cider, ginger tea, lemon juice, etc. Also, Dr. J recommends always taking HCL with food. Make sure to chew your food correctly, avoid food allergens, and have soup or stews to make your food more digestible.
