The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer (c. 1343–1400) is a collection of twenty-four stories told by pilgrims travelling to St Thomas à Becket’s shrine in Canterbury Cathedral. The winner of the “Tale contest” is to receive a free dinner upon return from the cathedral. The tales include two told by female characters: ‘The Prioress’s Tale’ and ‘The Wife of Bath’s Tale’. The Handmaid’s Tale re-crafts these imaginative stories into a dystopic miasma meant to instill fear of a political party that does not share in the bloodlust of Global Socialism - and is prominently featured on Regime Leader Hussein-linked Netflix.
The Handmaid’s Tale seeks to project their own bloodlust and treason upon innocent foils - who are given cardboard predictable roles - golems of murder and turmoil. Nowhere in this screed do inconvenient truths of Seal Team 6 murder, Biden Exposes Seal Team 6 Families, Blackwater murder for hire, etc.
