Australia Vs. Big Tech, Or How To Do Big Tech Regulation Completely Ineptly

When given a golden opportunity to hold Big Tech accountable, leave it up to the government to bungle it up. Glad it's not just a North American thing.

Australian Government enacted a worthless cash grab on platforms promoting and using news outlets to push equity instead of competence. Thus, circumventing the market and creating the appearance of doing something to curtail the powers of Big Tech, without doing anything at all. It all amounts to a shakedown by the Government that is successful in one Country, and will lay the groundwork for others to follow suit. All this will do is hurt non Corporate creators.
