When I got new tires it amplified how much play I had in my steering. My truck had 35" tires so the power steering gear is under heaver load. Getting the to adjuster screw is pretty cramped. You can go from the top by removing the air box or from the by removing the inner tire shield. I took my truck for a test drive and no more play.
