The largest mosque in Africa

The Great Mosque of Algiers, or the Great Mosque or the Great Mosque of Algeria as it is known to the general public, is a prominent Islamic architectural project in the state of Algeria, the mosque is located in the municipality of Muhammadiyah in the city of Algiers. After the completion of the project to be completed in 2018 [2], it is considered the third largest mosque in the world after the Al-Haramain Mosque. This mosque is supervised by the National Agency for the Execution and Management of the Mosque of Algeria under the tutelage of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism and the National Agency for the Accomplishment and Management of the Algiers Mosque.
