Foundation of Faith Part 1

Faith is the basic necessity of the Christian life. Only with faith can we perform what is necessary to live as a Christian.
It is by faith that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 3:28).
It is by faith that the basic principles are established in a believer's heart and life (Hebrews 6:1).
It is only by faith that we can please God (Hebrews 11:6).
It is by faith that we are sanctified (Acts 26:18).
It is by faith that we wage spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:16; Hebrews 11:32-34).
It is by faith that we receive the promises of God (Hebrews 11:32-34).
It is by faith that we live the Christian life (Galatians 2:20).
These Scriptures make it obvious that faith is vitally important to the Christian. It is absolutely impossible to be a Christian without faith, and it is also impossible to live the Christian life without faith.
