Jeremiah 9:24 says, "c. But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows Me [personally and practically, directly discerning and recognizing My character]" (Amplified Bible). One's character pertains to one's personality, nature or moral qualities: the thing that distinguishes this person from others. What a person is like? How they respond to certain situations, and how they treat others. Some claim that we could never fully know or understand God, yet God says that this is what He wants from us.
