A Federal Judge Has Ruled That The Temporary Ban On President Joe Biden's 100 Day Deportation Moratorium Has Been Extended Indefinitely.
The U.S. District Judge Originally Issued A Two Week Ban On The Moratorium After Texas Argued That Biden's Order Violated Federal Law And Would Add An Additional Financial Burden The State.

In The Days That Followed The Judges January Ruling, Authorities Deported More Than A Dozen Illegal Migrants To Jamaica And Hundreds More To Central America.

The Biden Administration Has Also Continued To Deport Illegal Migrants Under A Different Process Started By Former President Donald Trump, Who Invoked The Public-health Law Because Of The Coronavirus.

The 100-day Moratorium Was A Promise Made By Biden During His Campaign And As Part Of His Plan To Reverse Trump Administration Policies On Immigration And Border Security.

Biden Has Proposed A Sweeping Immigration Bill That Would Allow The Legalization Of More Than 11 Million Illegal Migrants Living In The United States. He Has Also Required Immigration And Border Agents To Get Pre- Approval From Washington Before Apprehending Certain Illegal Migrants.

It Is Unclear If The Biden Administration Will Appeal The Judges Ruling.
