The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Fit The Seventh - Speed Corrected

NOTE: There was a copyright claim on one section of Journey Of the Sorcerer so I had to allow YouTube to "silence" the music on those bits.

Hi, Doctor Alex here.

As many of you know, I grew up listening to the radio series of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams as a child. Many, many years later I bought the CDs of the original radio series. As soon as I listened to them I knew there was something wrong. They were too high pitched. I later learnt that the BBC's tapes had stretched before they could record them for release, and so all the recordings sold were too fast and therefore too high pitched (apparently there were some later "deluxe" editions which were corrected, but this is cold comfort for those who had already bought them).
Anyway, obviously I adjusted the speed and with is the pitch so they were correct again.
And I am uploading them here for those others who bought the faulty original records/tapes/CDs etc. The BBC own the copyright, and I would hope they claim the copyright without blocking them, but I cannot say what they will do in fact.
This is the first episode of the second series of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Fit the Seventh - first broadcast on 24/12/1978.
