Feb. 23rd marks 77 years since the Aardakh, the genocide of the Chechen and Ingush peoples by Joseph Stalin's Soviet Union. The entire Vainakh nation was rounded up and deported on cattle cars to Central Asia in the dead of winter. 1/3 died in the process.
