Spring is upon us here in Zone 6b! A rash of really nice days motivated me to change my Pea trellis and make some new area! Peas are one of the easiest crops to grow (usually) - just put them 1-2" in some fertile soil and let nature do the rest!Show more

I didn't use any fertilizer this year because I am using my own compost (unknown water soluble nitrogen content.) I applied fairly liberally.

I also decided to see how much difference soaking overnight has on germination or growth so we soaked some Sugar Daddy and Sugar Snap and are doing a comparison for unsoaked for a future video!
