Merrick Garland: Senate Judiciary Committee Holds Hearing on Confirmation for Attorney General

Today was the first day of Merrick Garland’s confirmation hearing to become Attorney General of the United States. Garland’s nomination will most likely be approved. Garland has served as the US circuit judge of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia since 1997. Joe Biden had nominated Garland for the US attorney general.
