Treadle Table Cy's Corner

I saw a table made from an old sewing machine one time and I’ve always wanted to try and make one. I found an old treadle Singer sewing machine and removed the sewing parts from it. Then I found a piece of wood that I thought would be nice for the top. I don’t know what kind of wood it is and it isn’t a perfectly rectangular-shaped piece. It does have some odd coloring and odd live edge shape, but I like it! In this video, I paint up the treadle and sand up the wood and put them together!
I thought this verse was perfect for a Singer treadle table:
