Vernon-Monashee BC MLA Freedom of Expression Rally Feb. 22, 2021

Citizens of the Vernon-Monashee British Columbia Constituency arrange to meet with newly elected MLA Harwinder Sandu at her Vernon office - but no one even answers the door. A well-researched, detailed 5 page document was to be delivered in person to ask critical questions concerning the COVID-19 response and lockdown measures. Once an NDP MLA office aid returned a phone call from an identified location, no dialogue took place after the MLA's representative realized that he was talking to concerned citizens defending their civil rights and exercising their constitutional Freedom of Assembly and Freedom of Expression.

Not a great start for a rookie MLA who is herself a nurse and who probably is aware of many of the dangerous outcomes that will almost certainly result from this unconstitutional, unscientific overreach on a viral challenge that has politically been fanned into a false pandemic.

An MLA is a steward of constituents and the refusal to meet with voters and citizens is unconscionable as well as unethical. Similar meetings were to take place February 22, 2021in 20 different communities in BC representing 30 constituencies.
