20210221 Minimum Wage - The Daily Summation

I know you wish people at the lowest wage levels made more money, but have you really considered what raising the minimum wage means?

So many people do little more than skim the surface when discussing this.

I want to take just a moment, and dig a little deeper in this edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

In the BETTER case, when you raise wages, you can count on inflation. In the WORST case, job loss and reduction in hours for LOW WAGE EMPLOYEES (and potentially others).

Take a look at what I say, you might want to rethink your position if you honestly believe, "I'd be okay with paying fifty cents more for a burger." How do you feel about EVERYTHING being more expensive? How do you think that'll affect people who DON'T make what you do an hour?
