Lt. Col. Jermon Tillman, deputy director of Support Operations, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, joined the Army to follow in the footsteps of his family. Tillman is originally from Dallas, , Texas, and plans to stay in the Army to add to his family’s rich tradition of serving in the Army. African Americans contribute to the diverse culture of the Army’s fighting force.
