Kilimanjaro 2016: Another Bucket List Item Completed!

This video illustrates what the Kilimanjaro experience is like, during each day through to the summit. Kilimanjaro was always on my bucket list, and since the opportunity presented to do it for charity- Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital- I figured: "Why not?" So Wifey & I signed on to Team GOSH for their 11-21 Feb 2016 Kilimanjaro Challenge. The Team was comprised of 16 members: 12 women and 4 men. All the ladies and 3 of the 4 men made it all the way to Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Kilimanjaro, and also on the African continent. But it was the Tanzanian porters that really made the experience wonderful. Singing & dancing in camp, motivational, just really lovely folks. I think I'll remember them more than the Kilimanjaro itself. If you ever get the chance, do Kilimanjaro; wonderful experience.
